A fastening piece (1) for longitudinally slotted capping (8) comprises an essentially rectangular metal retaining plate (2) with a mounting hole (3) in the centre for rear fastening to a wall (W). On the side faces, symmetrical with the mounting hole (3), two pairs of projecting shackles (4) are located, each with free, u-shaped, outwardly curved flanges (42) forming claws that grip on insertion into the longitudinal slots (9) of the capping. To simplify mounting of the fastening piece (1) and to enable neater cable laying while firmly securing various cappings, a web (5) is positioned on the retaining plate (2) between the shackle pairs (4) with an angled forward projecting foot (6). A raised ring (7) is preferentially formed in the retaining plate (2) surrounding the mounting hole (3). |
