The end piece (8) has inner insert teeth (9), which accommodate outer insert teeth (6) of a shaft (3). At the end of the end piece pointing away from the hollow shaft section (7) a protective bell (10) is fitted, which is suitable for accommodation in a housing opening (18) coaxial to the hollow shaft (15). The protective bell supports a sealing ring (14) on its outside, and is formed by a widening of the end piece. Alternatively, it can comprise a metal plate or plastic component fixed on the end piece. The end piece is formed as a tube with inner insert teeth or as a solid component part with blind hole bore (16) and inner insert teeth.
