Cable sleeve for optical waveguide

The cable sleeve has guiding members for the cable disposed vertically w.r.t. the cylindrical or oval sleeve body. The sleeve can be inserted vertically in a hole bored into the earth or in the road. Splice cassettes in the sleeve can be used for service work due to extra lengths of the optical waveguide. The splice cassettes can be removed when needed. preferably, the extra lengths of the waveguide are fed into a protective tube which is laid in several tubes inside the sleeve. At least the front o the sleeve body is closed by a cover which is accessible from the outside.
