The present invention refers to a sweeping type platform for collecting seeds from the ground for use in connection with a grain harvester. The platform comprises a chassis (2) mounted on wheels (3); sweeping means (6) on said chassis for collecting the seeds from the ground; baffle means (7) for making it easier to remove said seeds from the ground; means (8) for capturing the seeds swept from the ground by said sweeping means (6) and baffle means (7); and means (9) for directing the collected seeds towards a transportation means (10) for transporting the seeds swept from the ground to a selection compartment within the harvesters.
