The components for sealing, insulation and for location are formed as a common sealing component (4,4') in the form of a cylindrical hollow body. The sealing component has an all-round sealing bulge (11), a union with a stop surface for the pipe ends (1,2) and a union with a locating surface for the press tool. The fitting (3) has a predetermined length and the indentations (5,5') are predetermined in their shape and position. The shape and position of the sealing bulge are matched to the indentations on the fitting and the position of the stop and locating surfaces is matched to the length of the fitting.
