<p>A carrying device 11, which may be used to transport and store car cleaning equipment, comprises suction means 33 which is used to adhere said carrying device to a motor vehicle. The suction means 33 is attached to a framework 12, which also includes several support stations 28 used to hold bottles or other articles, a handle 15, and a manual engagement portion 16 located opposite the suction means 33 and which is used to attach and detach the carrying device 11. The suction means 33 preferably comprises a flexible disc (34, figure 5) having a central rod (41, figure 5) which is moved away from the plane of the disc using a cam arrangement 36. This cam arrangement is preferably activated by a lever (52, figure 5), which is movable in a direction generally parallel to the plane of the disc (34, figure 5). The support stations 28 may comprise a pair of upper support arms 13 and a lower support tray 14, or may alternatively take on other forms such as receptors (89, figure 12), spigots (94, figures 15,17,18), or a combination of these two types (figure 21).
