摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To freely guide an object to be guided to a desired direction by a method wherein the degree of modulation of received laser beam is detected to take out guidance information, the directional control of the object to be guided is carried out according to the guidance information, and the speed control is carried out in such a manner that the propulsion force is changed according to the strength of the laser beam. CONSTITUTION:When a command instruction to a ballistic missile including designation information, guide direction information, and speed control information is given to a platform 11 from a land-base station, the radiation direction of a high-power laser equipment 13, the output of laser, and the modulation degree of laser are decided in the platform according to the command instruction, laser beam is radiated on the side wall (exterior wall 141 of a propulsion force generator and solar cells 143) of a designated ballistic missile 14 by utilizing solar energy obtained from a solar array panel 12, so that the solar energy is converted to laser energy and the propulsion force is freely controlled. In addition, signals are output according to the modulation degree of laser beam which is radiated on the solar cells 143, and the guidance direction is detected by a receiver inside. Then, the spouting direction is controlled according to the detected guidance direction to direct the ballistic missile 14 to the guidance direction.</p>
