PURPOSE:To obtain the subject one-pack adhesive composition excellent in heat resistance and long in tackiness retention time. CONSTITUTION:This adhesive composition is such that, the main component, a synthetic modified chloroprene rubber prepared by graft polymerization of vinylsilane to a synthetic chloroprene rubber has been dissolved in an organic solvent. The solid component of this adhesive has a composition comprising 100 pts. wt. of the synthetic chloroprene rubber, 2-20 pts.wt. of a vinyl group- bearing silane coupling agent, 1-4 pts.wt. of an antioxidant, 10-100 pts.wt. of a reinforcing resin, 0-30 pts.wt. of a tackifying resin and 1-2 pts.wt. of a tin compound catalyst. The synthetic modified chloroprene rubber reacts with moisture in the presence of the catalyst followed by crosslinking to form a highly heat-resistant crosslinked rubber. |
