PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve consecutive photographing speed and to reduce the possibility of missing release timing by providing an arithmetic means for obtaining a focusing lens moving amount and a means for driving a focusing lens by the focusing lens moving amount obtained by the arithmetic means. SOLUTION: A CPU 1 constitutes the arithmetic means for obtaining the focusing lens moving amount from the standby position of the focusing lens to a range-finding value based on the range-finding value of an autofocusing(AF) circuit 4 at the time of starting consecutive photographing or a setting means consisting of a switch part 8, and the arithmetic means for obtaining the focusing lens moving amount from the present position of the focusing lens to the range-finding value based on the range-finding value of the AF circuit 4 after starting the consecutive photographing. After starting the consecutive photographing, a pulse motor need not be restored to a reference position whenever photographing is performed. Thus, the consecutive photographing speed is improved and the possibility of missing the release timing is reduced. |
