PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-size microwave inductor coil which can be surface- mounted, be used as an inductor in a frequency band above 1GHz, have less parasitic components, and can pass a large current therethrough with low resistance. SOLUTION: The coil main body 1 is made by closely winding a insulator- coated metallic thin conductor wire having a diameter of 20-200μm in such a manner that the adjacent wires abut against each other, in the form of a coil. The coil main body is provided at both ends with soldered terminals la, which are obtained by peeling off insulator coatings corresponding to one or several turns of the thin wire therefrom. A core part 2, which is made of such magnetic material as ferrite, is shaped into nearly a cylinder. The core part 2 is disposed within the coil main body 1 as engaged therewith.
