PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical deodorizing device which can keep high deodorizing ability for a long time. SOLUTION: A filter A, with which an air ventilation stream 2 can be transmitted, provided with a deodorizing filter 5 is spread over the almost whole cross-section of a ventilation path B. Thus, almost all the air ventilation streams 2 can contact the deodorizing filter 5. The filter A is arranged orthogonally with the direction of the air ventilation stream 2. Besides, plural pieces of mutually parallel columnar lamps 3 orthogonal with the direction of the air ventilation stream 2 are arranged on the upstream side of the filter. The plural lamps 3 are made parallel with the filter and can equally irradiate a light catalyst carried on the deodorizing filter 5 with strong light regardlessly of places. |
