PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the processing time and to improve the job efficiency almost without degrading image quality by selecting an image of an area required for image processing in the unit of pixels, converting the resolution a multiple of a reciprocal and performing the image processing. SOLUTION: A digital image file or a new image file being an edit object stored in a recording device 2 is opened and pixel arrangement of an image for each layer is stored in a memory 6. Then a mouse and a key board 4 are used to surround the image of an area required for image processing by a rectangle and selected in the unit of pixels and the resolution is converted by a multiple of a reciprocal and the result is stored in a memory 8. Then pixels changed at the input are replaced and the result is given to a memory 7 and displayed on a display device 11. Thus, while confirming the processing result in real time, the image processing is performed in the unit of pixels to reduce the processing time and the job efficiency is improved almost without degrading the image quality and an image with higher quality is generated. |
