<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a pipe-connecting part used for buried underground oil-tank which can be connected to external piping in a short time, further, eliminates a piping operation in a protector at a site where the underground oil-tank is set, and can also prevent the entry of water into the protector over a long period of time. SOLUTION: Connecting pipes 10-13 which are connected with external piping are arranged together onto one protector 6, out of the protectors 6 and 7 provided on an oil tank main body. In order to connect the external piping to connecting pipes, the only one protector is handled, therefore the connecting pipes 10-13 can be connected to the external piping in a short time. Also, by making holes into specific parts of the side of the protector 6 in a factory and by inserting the connecting pipes 10-13 into the holes 17a-17c so that they sick out of the protector 6 little distances, their front ends are used as connecting ends for the external piping. An oil tank having such connecting parts are shipped from the factory, carried to a setting site, and set into the underground. Thereafter the connecting ends and the external piping are connected together.</p> |
