PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain excellent color reproducibility by extracting an object color vector, an illuminating light vector and an environment light vector based on an object image picked up by a multi-band and a spectral distribution of an illuminating light so as to revise independently the vectors and coefficients. SOLUTION: When an electronic camera 1 picks up spectral distribution of an object image and an illuminating light through 4 kinds of multi-bands, the image data are transferred to a control section 3 via an image memory 2. Then an image data arithmetic section 6 calculates the object color vector, the light source color vector and the environment light vector based on the image data. The calculated vectors are sent to a data memory 7. For the process of image fetching or data transfer processing, it is commanded by the operator via a key board 4 and a mouse 5. |
