<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust a leakage quantity in operation by safely adjusting a fastening degree of fastening mechanisms even in operation. SOLUTION: Fastening mechanisms 7 to push-press a shaft seal member 6 loaded in a grand part 4 between a stuffing box 2 and a rotary shaft 3, are composed of collar parts 70 formed so as to overhang outside in the radial direction to an end part on the packing pressing-down member 8 side in the stuffing box 2, a pair of bolt fitting recessed parts 70A and 70A formed in these collar parts 70, a pair of eye bolts 71 and 71 whose male screw parts 71B are fitted to the bolt fitting recessed parts 70A and 70A and a pair of nuts 72 and 72 to interfere with the collar parts 70 by being screw-fitted from the opposite side of a packing pressing-down member 8 to the respective male screw parts 71B of the eye bolts 71 and 71. Respective ring-shaped base parts 71A of the eye bolts 71 and 71 are rotatably installed on the packing pressing- down member 8 through pins 80A.</p> |
