<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To intake an air in the surge tank for supporting ports smoothly, in an intake manifold providing plural ports. SOLUTION: The end parts of respective ports 3 projected in a surge tank 2 are formed cylindrically and the tip of the intermediate part of as straightening vane 4, whose section is a nearly V letter shape, is faced to the flow in port 2a of the surge tank 2 and its both ends are welded to the outer peripheral surface of the port end part. The eddy of the air streamed in the surge tank 2 is not generated by the straightening vane 4 and the port 3 far from the flow in port 2a can take in the air smoothly and the efficiency of an engine is improved.</p> |
