PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install flexibly the base station transmitter-receiver and the radio base station in a mobile communication system in compliance with diversified station installation conditions. SOLUTION: The radio base station is provided with a plurality of transmission reception means 111 -11n adopting a radio frequency assigned to its own station to form a radio zone and sending transmission information through a radio channel in opposition to a mobile station, a channel control means 12 conducting radio channel setting control based on a command given from a radio channel control station via a communication link, a monitor control means 13 monitoring the operating state of a plurality of transmission reception means and a channel control means 12 to provide an output of the result, and a central control means 14 controlling a plurality of the transmission reception means 111 -11n , the channel control means 12 and the monitor control means 13 to keep the operating rate. Then number (n) of the transmission reception means 111 -11n is set to a maximum sector number to be formed or a maximum number of radio frequencies assigned to a single radio zone which is higher and the channel control means 12, the monitor control means 13 and the central control means 14 are integrated as if to be a single control means.
