PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the multicast connection method by which a time required for the connection of a subscriber called terminal equipment is reduced and a frequency band resource of a network is efficiently utilized. SOLUTION: Each of subnet managers SM1, SM11, SM12, SM21 stores MC tree information representing a connection state between an exchange node and a terminal equipment with respect to each multicast call. In the case of subscribing processing with respect to a prescribed multicast call, the subnet manager SM 11 selects an optimum subscribing path tying each of exchange nodes N111, N112 with respect to the multicast call with an exchange node N113 containing a called terminal LF2 subscribed newly based on its own MC tree information and makes a reservation of a frequency band to each line L113 on the selected optimum subscribing path. |
