PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To record the fault of a computer system so as to be easily analyzed. SOLUTION: Fault information required for analyzing the fault of the computer system is collected by an input/output collecting means 1, time sequential information collecting means 2, system load collecting means 3, system abnormality monitoring means 4, APP state information collecting means and user definition information collecting means 6. On the other hand, the kinds or the like of information to be collected/monitored are registered by a collected information registering means 7. Based on these registered contents, a fault information recording means 8 collects the information of respective collecting/monitoring means 1-6 and records it in one recording area 9 on a main memory. When any fault occurs, a main memory image damp file 11 is generated by compressing the image in the main storage device, and the information recorded while being compressed is extracted by a recording area reading means 13 and displayed on a main memory image display means 12. |
