<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently input characters without requiring an operator to perform any extra operations in a character input mode by preparing a state monitoring part and a display control part. SOLUTION: The state monitoring part 2a monitors the messages transferred between the application programs A9 and B10 and an O/S (operating system) 8 to output the start notification of a character display/input part 2c to a character display/input control part 2b when the input of characters are necessary and also notifies the window handle information to monitor the messages transferred between the program B10 and the O/S 8. When the input of characters are not necessary, a character input cancel state is decided and the end notification of the part 2c is outputted to the part 2b to close a character input window. Thus, an operator is not required to perform the display or non-display of the character input window at each time and therefore the operator's load can be reduced. In addition, an easy-to-see screen is secured for execution of jobs with high efficiency.</p> |
