Device for separating substances in the process for obtaining sugar from beet

The process for converting beet into sugar requires complete utilisation of the raw material. The machine developed in this project aims to fulfil this function. The separator is composed of three different parts: a conveyor/dryer 1, which carries the mixture towards the tank at the same time as it dries it, a separator 2 which recovers the beet, depending on the latter's size, and a system 3 for collecting tubers and discharging waste. <IMAGE>
