PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three dimensional simulator device and the information storage medium which provide the time variation of the height of a map to a player as a body feeling. SOLUTION: Height information at first to third positions 22, 24 and 26 on the map arranged in an object space is varied as a function of time. Simultaneously, a view point position 32 and a direction of the line of sight 34, both of which track the motion of a moving body 30 on the map, are varied in accordance with the height information. Then, the field of vision picture defined by the varying position 32 and the direction 34 is synthesized. It is desirable to change the height information more often than the change in the map picture using an interpolating process. Moreover, it is highly desirable that the body 30 does not jump while it is going up hill and the body 30 only jumps while it is going down hill. |
