PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an overcoat having a smooth surface by spin coating, roll coating, etc., at the time of forming one color pixel pattern among the color pixel patterns by simultaneously forming a frame-shaped dummy pattern surrounding the color pixel pattern region with the same coloring material. SOLUTION: A multilayer interference film formed by alternately laminating the films of titanium oxide, silicon oxide, etc., on a transparent substrate 2 is used as a coloring material, and a color pixel pattern 3 region consisting of plural colors, e.g. R(red), G(green) and B(blue), is formed. A frame-shaped dummy pattern 4 is formed around the color pixel pattern 3 region. The clearance between the color pixel pattern 3 region and the dummy pattern 4 is appropriately set in accordance with the specification of a color filter. The dummy pattern 4 is formed at the same time as the one color pixel pattern among the plural color pixel patterns is formed. |
