PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an IC card suitable for forming a gradation image on a card surface by sublimating thermal transfer by forming an IC card surface at a side having no IC chip of an IC chip mounting board as an image forming surface. SOLUTION: Since a front surface of a plastic sheet 120 is the side loaded with no component on a board 101, no uneven part is generated. Thus, no gap occurs between a recording heat of an IC card issuing apparatus and an image forming surface of an IC card 100, and the apparatus is suitable for forming a gradation image with sublimable ink. Then, the surface of the sheet 120 of the side loaded with no IC chip 110 of the board 101 is formed as an image forming surface 120A (image receiving layer coating surface), and the image is formed on the surface 120A by sublimable type thermal transfer. Incidentally, the receiving layer is a layer fro receiving sublimable type ink (sublimable dye) and a layer regulated to preferably receive the sublimable ink. |
