PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oscillating actuator which has only a little wear and is stable by providing a sliding material which is located at a contact section between a vibrator and a relative motion member and which is formed of resin which contains polyether nitryl as a matrix. SOLUTION: An ultrasonic actuator 11 has a rectangular parallelopiped elastic body 12 and a relative motion member 17 which is brought into contact with the elastic body 12 by pressure. On one of the flat faces of the elastic body 12, a piezoelectric body 13 is installed. At two places on the other flat face of the elastic body 12 which become loops of a quaternary flexing vibration, driving force extracting sections 12a, 12b are formed in the projecting shape. On both ends in the longitudinal direction of an end face of each of the projecting sections 12a, 12b, rectangular thin plate-like sliding materials 14a, 14b, 14c, 14d are pasted with an epoxy adhesive. As for the material for the sliding materials 14a-14d, such material is used that may be made by adding polytetrafluoroethylene, a kind of fluororesin, and carbon fiber into resin which contains polyether nitryl as a matrix. By using such a material, the wear of the sliding materials can be lessened. |
