SOLUTION: In the case of respectively feeding plural documents 2a and 2b set in parallel on the document placing tray 39 of the automatic document feeder 12 and selecting a parallel feeding mode for copying the corresponding images to the documents 2a and 2b on one transfer sheet P, the device is provided with a joint image erasing means B for erasing the image at the joint part between the documents 2a and 2b among the images formed on the transfer sheet P in accordance with the documents 2a and 2b respectively fed in parallel. Thus, even in the case of performing the parallel paper feeding mode, the image at the joint part of the parallelarranged documents 2a and 2b among the images formed on the transfer sheet P is erased by the image erasing means A, so that the user can obtain an easy to see image. |
