<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To normally process an access request given from another port by accepting port no processing at all by measuring the pulse width of a reset signal and also counting the frequency of reset signals which are inputted in a fixed time, and judging an abnormality when the active state of the reset signal lasts as it is. SOLUTION: If a reset signal is fixed in an active state and not recovered due to a hardware fault, etc., and if the reset signals are intermittently inputted, the reset processing is repeated via a port. A reset monitor table 26 is used to measure the pulse width of the reset signal and to count the frequency of reset signals which are inputted in a fixed time, so that the operation of another normal port is never stopped. Thus, a fault of a bus reset signal is decided and the port processing including a reset request is not accepted at all (lock-out). Then the access request given from another port can be normally processed.</p> |
