The flexible fire screen has an outer face (4) in contact with the heat source formed of a chain mail type surface (1) formed of mineral fibres and pressed foam (2) similar to that used by firemen. The other face is covered in pressed foam of which the components move up to the exterior face to increase the protective effect. The pressed foam can be contained in the cells (3) of the walls to be placed in contact with the heat are formed by the tiling (6). The sprayed foam can be injected into tubular ducts (8) on either side of a flexible support.
