<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable highly vivid display of plot data by adding a simple hardware. SOLUTION: This radar display device displays radar data detected by a radar unit being overlapped with digital data such as track data by a raster scan system and plot data of a radar video. In this case, two plot frame memories 308 and 309 are arranged and the writing of the plot data into or the reading thereof out of the two plot frame memories 308 and 309 is controlled through changeover switches 307 and 312. The reading/writing control operation period for the plot frame memories 308 and 309 is divided in operation from the plot data screen display period and the period of writing data obtained by attenuating data read out during the above-mentioned periods at a specified attenuation rate synchronizing the other plot frame memory. This control operation is cyclically changed over to output the plot data, thereby achieving an overlapped display of the digital data and the plot video.</p> |
