<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To artificially generate earthquakes, enable predicting earthquakes and reduce the earthquakes by putting explosives in holes dug deep in the ground along an active fault and exploding them simultaneously. SOLUTION: In the positions 2 to 5 along an active fault 1, vertical holes 7 with depth of 500 to 1,000m are dug from the ground surface 6. Then horizontal holes 8 are also dug from there, explosive rooms having hemispherical ceilings 9 are formed and explosives 10 are put in. The explosives 10 in all holes formed in this manner are simultaneously exploded. The hemispherical ceilings 9 concentrate the exploding force to underground direction. By this, the time of earthquake occurrence is set freely, the time of occurrence can be predicted with an accuracy of a second and the energy of the earthquake can be reduced.</p> |
