PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a copy productivity for the digital copying machine. SOLUTION: A control means E allows an image read means B to read an image of an original at an image read position and stores the image data to an image storage means C and allows an image forming means D to input image data in the image storage means C and forms an image onto transfer paper in parallel. In the case of using an automatic draft feeder(ADF), the image read means B reads an image of an original set at first to the image read position and stores the image data to the image storage means C and the image of the original set to the image read position by the ADF is read by the image read means B and the image data are stored in the image storage means C and the image data in the image storage means C are outputted to the image forming means D to form an image on the transfer paper in parallel.
