SOLUTION: Recording conditions at a rewritable sector on an optical disk 113 are discriminated by a discrimination means 119, and the range of the change width of a recording start point is set by an amount-of-delay control circuit 106 according to the recording conditions. Then, the recording timing of a modulation data signal 105 is changed within the range of the set change width and the information of a corresponding sector on the optical disk 113 is written.
