PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assure density gradation property as well as an image quality by making the printing operation finished, and implementing a given processing, when environmental change or fluctuation in the durability occurs during the consecutive printing operation. SOLUTION: This image forming device, provided with counting means 13 counting the number of printing sheets, and the sequence control means 20 performing control of switching the timing for implementing the image density control processing corresponding to the number of printing sheets and a drum service life detection process, is composed so as to assure the density gradation property as well as the image quality by making the printing operation finished, and implementing the above processing in printing more than a given number of sheets. |
