<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To share the area of a soft keyboard for a character recognition input picture and to unnecessitate the switching operation of any use. SOLUTION: The data of a coordinate dot sequence inputted to the coordinate input picture of a display integrated type coordinate input device 11 by a user while using a pen 111 are stored in a hand coordinate storage part 12. A hand coordinate position discriminating part 13 reads out the coordinate dot sequence stored in the storage part 12 for each stroke. When the starting point of that stroke exists inside the area of the soft keyboard and the starting point and ending point of that stroke exist in the same key, a key input operation is discriminated, the relevant coordinate dot sequence is sent to a soft keyboard control part 15 by a hand sending destination switching part 14, and key input processing is performed. In the other case, a handwritten character input using the area of the soft keyboard as the character recognition input picture is discriminated, the relevant coordinate dot sequence is sent to a character recognition processing part 16, and character recognition processing is performed.</p> |
