PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color image forming device capable of high speed printing which integrates an image forming body into a cartridge together with electrifying means, developing means, and so on in a balanced layout, provides high linear-density and satisfactory gradation, is compact, and ensures satisfactory maintenance- workability. SOLUTION: The image forming body is a drumlike one. An image exposure means fixed to a device main body has laser generating sources 121 corresponding to image recording signals for a plurality of colors. The device has an image forming means whereby laser beams including the corresponding image-recording signals generated from the generating pipes 121 enter the image forming body from the outside of the image forming body via a polygon mirror 122 and lens 123, and images are formed from the inside of the image forming body onto the periphery of the image forming body and into the specific image-forming positions of the laser beams corresponding to the image forming signals for the colors via reflecting mirrors 124 and 126 and an image forming branch mirror 127 which are situated inside the image forming body and fixed to the device main body. Further, the electrifying means and developing means are provided upstream and downstream, respectively, from the corresponding image-forming positions. |
