PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a device excellent in assemblability and disassemblability and a recycling property capable of reusing parts, etc., by adopting such a constitution that the entrance and side seals are fixed only to a cover, thereby enabling an entrance seal and a side seal to be adhered to only one part. SOLUTION: The cover 7 covers a developer carrying path from a doctor 6 to a latent image carrier 1 and a circular-arcuate part where a surface facing the latent image carrier 1 is almost concentric with it is extended up to the downstream side of a developing region 5, outside both end parts of a developing sleeve 4. The entrance seal 8 for preventing the scattering of toner to the upstream side of the developing region and the side seal 9 for preventing the scattering of the toner and carriers from both end parts of the sleeve 4 are fixed to only the cover 7. Therefore, the entrance seal 8 and the side seal 9 are adhered to only one part. The entrance seal 8 is constituted so as to hermetically seal the gap between the latent image carrier 1 and the cover 7. |
