PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operability for optical communication between two electronic equipment independently of arrangement positions of infrared communication ports on electronic equipment and to ensure data communication utilizing infrared rays furthermore. SOLUTION: Infrared delivery parts 14 (14a and 14b) are provided in both end parts of an optical cable 12 constituted by collecting plural optical cable fibers 20, and a light input/output face 78 to the optical cable 12 can be arranged so as to face an infrared communication port 17 of an electronic equipment 16 (16a or 16b), thus performing infrared communication between two electronic equipment 16 through infrared delivery parts 14 and the optical cable 12.
