PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To consistently support sales promotion effective for a seller by extracting stock information and relish limit information of food from a system for managing merchandise at the store of a super market or a department store, leading out the combination of merchandise contributing to the sales promotion of the seller from these conditions in the frame of a cooking menu and visually providing information concerning the cooking menu. SOLUTION: A central processor 101 extracts a cooking menu using merchandise (material) from a storage device 105 by setting merchandise designated by an input device 102 to be a key. A cooking menu to retrieve is designated by the input device 102 and concerning merchandise necessary for the designated cooking menu, the central processor 101 extracts stock information and relish limit information of food from the storage device 105 to judge whether it is effective for utilizing sales promotion. The judging result is displayed on a display 103 and a sales promoter selects a cooking menu for utilizing for sales promotion. Detailed information on the selected cooking menu is outputted from a display 107 and a printer 109 installed at the store.
