ELECTROSTATIC LATENT IMAGE DEVELOPER AND IMAGE FORMING METHOD USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electrostatic latent image developer having a wide temp. range for fixing, little dependence on environments and extremely long life, and to provide an image forming method to obtain an excellent image by using this developer. SOLUTION: This electrostatic latent image developer consists of a carrier and a toner. The carrier consists of a core and a resin coating layer having dispersion of resin fine particles and a conductive material. The resin fine particles consist of a nitrogen-contg. resin such as malamine resin. The toner contains a binder resin and a coloring agent, and the binder resin contains a THF-insoluble component by 1 to 25wt.%. It is preferable that the binder resin contains a polyester resin by 5 to 30wt.% THF-insoluble component and that the conductive material is a carbon black.
