PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To widen a horizontal deflection pulse width without causing image omission by compressing video signals in a television signal period. SOLUTION: Television signals inputted from an input terminal are processed in a television signal processing circuit and supplied to a frequency rate conversion circuit. The frequency rate conversion circuit performs setting so as to raise the frequency rate of the television signals supplied from the television signal processing circuit and compresses a video signal period. By compressing the video signal period, enlarging a non-signal period including synchronization signals, enlarging the deflection pulse of a horizontal deflection circuit so as to be equivalent to the enlarged non-signal period and using it, a function is improved without causing the image omission. |
