PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document processor and its method reduced in time for editing operation by facilitating document editing operation. SOLUTION: After a line range to be the object of erasing processing is designated (step S3), lines within the range are erased (step S4). To put it in the concrete, printing line pitch values within line document information corresponding to each line between a starting point line position (a) and a finish point line position (b) in the line range are added and the result is added to the printing line pitch value of a line at the line position (c) of a line just before the starting point line. The obtained printing line pitch value is converted to a line pitch value and this converted pitch value is set as the line pitch value of the line at the line position (c). After finishing setting, information on lines within a range from a line position (a) to a line position (b) designated as the erasing range is erased from the document memory of RAM. At the time of the erasing processing of a line range, only the line pitch value of a line just before a starting point line is revised and the line pitch values of the other lines are maintained. |
