PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a personal computer having a function for maintaining the accuracy of a clock and a multimedia function for displaying character information on a display as well. SOLUTION: Concerning this personal computer, multiplex broadcasting from a broadcasting station is received by an FM multiplex broadcasting transmission/reception circuit 10, and time information in that multiplex broadcasting is detected by a time detection circuit 20 and inputted to a clock control circuit 40. Besides, the time information from a basic clock generation circuit 30 inside a main body is similarly inputted to the clock control circuit 40 and the time is compared. When the time on the side of the basic clock generation circuit 30 is deviated, a correct signal is inputted to the basic clock generation circuit 30 and the clock time is corrected. |
