PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a connector to be easily mounted on a substrate and provide an electric connector capable of automatic mounting, without deforming a contact during connector handling and without deforming a tail part of the contact when the connector is mounted on the substrate. SOLUTION: A connector 10 installs a guide part 18 on both sides in the width direction of a locator 16, provided with a protrusion 22 protruded in the outer direction near a tip end on the free end side of this guide part 18, provided with recesses A24 and B26 of such sizes that the protrusion 22 of the locator 16 can be engaged with a flange part 20 on both sides of a block 12, and these two recesses A24 and B26 are arranged in two stages at certain intervals. |
