PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speedily display envelop waveforms for retrieving the editing point by voice. SOLUTION: Continued video information is read out by one frame for each specified time and displayed in the form of plural small screens on one monitor screen. At the same time, the envelope waveform relating to the voice data associated with the video information of small screens is recorded on a specified track of this monitor screen. In this case, the data obtained by integrating the envelope waveforms of voice signals is stored in the memory. After the data of all the voice signals is stored, this voice data is recorded on a specified track Ta of the recording medium in the form of voice signals (envelope waveform) for editing. At the time of voice editing, only the retrieval of the specified track Ta is required to reproduce the targeted envelope waveform, thus the waveform is displayed speedily. |
