PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the equipment such as a portable telephone set in which an adaptor is integrated to the equipment main body without being projected and damage of parts due to a shock in the lateral direction is prevented. SOLUTION: An adaptor 4 has two removable and reversible side faces, the side face with full SIM is smoothed and the side face of micro SIM has a guide groove 5 and a fastening jig 6. The equipment has a recessed part containing the adaptor 4, and the recessed part is formed to make the full SIM visible when the adaptor 4 is inserted in the chip card read mode of full SIM format and is placed toward a connector of the chip card reader and the recessed part is formed to make the micro SIM visible when the adaptor 4 is inserted in the chip card read mode of micro SIM format. Then the recessed parts, guide grooves 5 and fastening jigs 6 of the adaptor 4 are arranged so that contacts of an integrated circuit of the micro SIM card are opposed to the connector of the reader of the chip card. |
