VEHICULAR HYDRAULIC GENERATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drive a generator at a constant number of revolutions as well as prevent a drop in its number of revolutions even when the discharge of a hydraulic pump is varied resulted from a change in its pump efficiency. SOLUTION: A hydraulic pump 2 driven by an engine 1 is made to be of a variable displacement type, and the discharge pressure oil thereof is fed through a restriction 8 to a hydraulic motor 4 which in turn drives a generator 6. The differential pressure between the inlet and outlet side pressures of the restriction 8 is detected, and the displacement of the hydraulic pump 2 is controlled such that the differential pressure is kept constant to drive the generator 6 at a constant number of revolutions.
