MAGNETIC CARD AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic card that cannot be changed illegally and its manufacturing method, by providing a fixed information track that cannot be rewritten in one portion of the card and giving an ID function. SOLUTION: In the magnetic card where a magnetic layer 2 for recording and reproducing information magnetically and a magnetic shield layer 3 made of a magnetic powder with a high permeability on the magnetic layer 2 are laminated on a nonmagnetic substrate 1 with an orientation where an axis of easy magnetization is aligned in the direction inside the surface, the magnetic powder with a high permeability that is one portion of the magnetic shield layer 3 has a fixed information part 3b that is a fixed information track that cannot be rewritten being formed with a predetermined pitch alternately in vertical orientation direction and in the orientation direction in the surface.
