CATV KARAOKE BROADCASTING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a CATV KARAOKE (orchestration without lyrics) broadcasting system capable of shortening the user's waiting time by broadcasting a different KARAOKE program in each branch feeder. SOLUTION: Picture/sound reproducing devices 5, 6 for reproducing a KARAOKE program requested from a user are arranged on the branch feeders 7A, 7C of a communication network. A branch feeder 7B on which no picture/ sound reproducing device is arranged shares the device 5 arranged on the near-by branch feeder 7C. A branch feeder 7A, 7B or 7C in the communication network connected to a broadcasting receiver of a user requesting a KARAOKE program is specified based on the branch feeder number of the user stored in a member information storage device 13. Each of the devices 5, 6 is provided with a request information storage device 19 for storing request information.
