PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger system which cools stably an alcohol refrigerant at a solidifying temperature of about 142 deg.C having an eutectic point composition of methanol/ethanol with a liquefied natural gas. SOLUTION: An alcohol refrigerant to be cooled is supplied to a first indirect heat exchanger E1, which increases the temperature of a liquid natural gas(LNG) and leads the LNG to a second indirect heat exchanger E2. With the liquid natural gas whose temperature is increased in such a fashion, from the first indirect heat exchanger E1, the alcohol refrigerant is heat exchanged with the liquid natural gas of about 160 deg.C, thereby increasing the temperature of the liquefied natural gas which enters the first indirect heat exchanger E1 from the second liquid natural indirect heat exchanger E2 to such a high temperature that may not allow she alcohol refrigerant to be solidified. The liquid natural gas introduced to the second indirect heat exchanger E2 from the first indirect heat exchanger E1 is collected by cold heating at a third indirect heat exchanger E3. |
