<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the display device and display method by which an excellent operating convenience is obtained in the case of displaying simultaneously a plurality of images. SOLUTION: An aspect ratios (Y:X) of a monitor screen 12a is set to 9:12 (1:2) and other aspect ratios (Y:X1, Y2:X2, Y3:X2) are 3:4, which are the same as that of a conventional screen. Then the screen is divided into three screen divisions; a large screen 12b, a 1st small screen 12c and a 2nd small screen 12d. In the case of displaying an image onto each of the division screes 12b, 12c, 12d, the display position of the image is easily moved without image processing such as partial cutting of the image. When the image displayed on the small screens 12c, 12d is moved to the large screen 12b, the image is momentarily magnified, and when the image displayed on the large screen 12b is moved to the small screens 12c, 12d, the image is instantaneously reduced.</p> |
